Saturday, October 15, 2011 - Opened and drank over two days. The initial glass was extremely tight; the cork was put back in the bottle and it sat at room temperature in the kitchen over night. Day two -this wine has an amazing nose!!! Flowers fruit, and the hallmark of greatness (despite the second label) the palate is full of blackberry, blueberry and dark fruits. This wine is still very tannic!! Despite being opened for two days, this wine still requires time to integrate. Lay your bottles down and resist the urge to pop. I will re-visit in two years or if someone I trust posts something to the effect that the wine is ready.
