Tuesday, March 13, 2012 - Marchesi Antinori (Firenze) (Firenze): Intense ruby red, with purple rim. Crystalline.
Intense complex and fine nose: Rhubarb and liquorice over red fruits.
Good acidity at taste, a bit tannic due to its youngness. Very complex, full mouth, very persistent and fine.
This vintage was 80% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Cab. Franc. [LM: 89/2011]
