Monday, January 7, 2013 - Required a bit of decanting as their was a bit co2 on the palate. Another good showing albeit it did not excite us as much as last time (rated 94). Easily among the best 04 we have tried, especially from Gevrey. Nose is meaty, smoky with good fruit and very Gevrey. On the palate is pure and solid with good fruit and such a joy to drink and with none of the flaws of the vintage. 92+ drinks nicely now.
