I'm surprised by how soft this is showing, with little of the tannin I was expecting, and also, thankfully, little heat. This seems well-integrated already. The palate is soft, yet deep, still primary with blue and black fruits like blackberry, along with touches of walnut on the sides. There is a fleeting note of funk and I'm wondering whether this has a drop of TCA, but then it seems to dissipate. Very enjoyable already at this young age. Lots of large, chunky sediment.
