Saturday, January 26, 2013 - To me the 2000 Cuvée Grenache has already seen its days of glory. The wine shows clear signs of aging with a light velvety colour and a nose full of dark smooth fruit without any hard edges. The palate is perfectly integrated but the length on the finish is too short to provide an experience worth remembering. Tannins, acidity and fruit are nicely balanced, despite fading fruit. This wine most likely peaked a couple of years ago, but still provides pleasurable drinking. Drink up!
