Monday, March 11, 2013 - Pale gold. A complex nose of lemon drops, green apple, passionfruit, pineapple, slate, funky ripe cheese and sulphur; all resting in an old kerosene drum. Medium weight on the palate, which is moderately sweet and nicely balanced by its acidic spine. Not sure if it's reflective of the wine in general, but this bottle could perhaps do with a touch more freshness. There's a hint of spritz on entry but otherwise has a silky texture. Medium length finish.
