Saturday, June 29, 2013 - HDH auction tasting at Tru (and an embarrassment of riches) (Chicago, IL): Fourrier nailed it. A delicious, if slightly bordelais nose of brown spice, coffee, and soy. Somewhat austere on the palate, and definitely not a heavy-hitter by any means, though this is quite savory. Lots of acidity and very silky in texture. No hint of green to be found anywhere (and I was looking!).
