Saturday, September 28, 2013 - Thought this was quite nice, though perhaps overpirced. The nose is rather typical, with ripe orchard fruits, brown spice, vanilla, and caramelized nuts. The medium-full bodied palate is surprisingly lively, balancing baked apples with lemon acidity, slate, and white flowers. The finish is long and fresh, adding herbs, vanilla, and roasted nuts.
