Friday, November 8, 2013 - Popped and poured. Tawny brick colored, decent viscosity. Nose initially very muted, ebut vigorous shaking in the glass reveals a lovely bouquet of blackberry and violets. In the mouth, noticeable but smooth mouth coating tannins give a medium / full bodied feel, dark fruit flavors, with notes of sour plum.

Well balanced, but quite closed. Needs decanting or, better still, more time in bottle.
