Light and pretty austere at first, but the underripe lemon eventually seeps its way through the rocks. Still, this is mainly about the non-fruit elements. The delicate style of the vintage combined with the unoaked vilification of this producer have resulted in a gem of an old fashioned Chablis. Warning-avoid if you are seeking fleshy, fruity Chardonnay.
