Sunday, June 14, 2015 - This one's almost too easy to drink—this bottle drained pretty quickly. Juicy, crowd-pleasing, gulp-able, but not blowzy. Not too complex, but enjoyable w/ pork chops on this hot day. This could almost be a village Beaujolais, and I'd serve it in that type of situation. Somewhere b/n crimson and ruby in color w/ transparency and a clear meniscus. Fairly tight on the nose, with some cherry, floral, and soil peaking through. Light to medium body, medium acid and finish, and flavors of high toned red fruits and iron. Good summer red; nice w/ a slight chill on it too.
