Ripe berries and cherries, very fruity with not much complexity - some tobacco emerged on night 2. OK acid and tannin - a little more of both would be nice, but what's there is acceptable. Overall pretty enjoyable and gulpable for $14.
Served with grilled tuna. Nice combo flavor of red fruit, tart cherry, bright and full, some earth & spice, moderate tannin. Medium body. Enjoyed with the meal.

We decided another red was required to get over the disappointing Malbec. Blend of Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Barbera and touches of Albatross, Freisa and Pinot Noir. A wine seeking to explore all that Piemonte has to offer. Fruity in the extreme and only possible to sip with food. We think a very good producer failed to deliver. It was dark cherry red to the eye, which was inviting. The nose was fairly bland offering little distinction other than “fruit”. Simple down the palate with virtually no finish. Sad!

Wow what a fantastic value. This is first of all exactly what you are looking for in a Langhe Rosso. Sour cherry, raspberries in a very fruit forward wine. Extremely food friendly. Will go with a LOT of things. It will also drink great on its own and is a great summer wine.

Ruby with a hint of brick. On the nose, high toned and floral, with fruit aromas of fresh and dried cherry, rose petal, potpourri, and cinnamon. Also some licorice/anise. On the palate, the fruit is clean and fresh, all cherry and raspberry juice. There’s still some floral and spice elements, but much more fruit focused on the palate than on the nose. It’s medium-light in weight and has a very nice “cool” airy texture, like cotton. Nice juicy finish, with decent length and good acid. Very modest tannin. This is just a great, pure and simple red, very food friendly, easy to drink, well balanced, and no thought required. Very happy with it.
This one's almost too easy to drink—this bottle drained pretty quickly. Juicy, crowd-pleasing, gulp-able, but not blowzy. Not too complex, but enjoyable w/ pork chops on this hot day. This could almost be a village Beaujolais, and I'd serve it in that type of situation. Somewhere b/n crimson and ruby in color w/ transparency and a clear meniscus. Fairly tight on the nose, with some cherry, floral, and soil peaking through. Light to medium body, medium acid and finish, and flavors of high toned red fruits and iron. Good summer red; nice w/ a slight chill on it too.

Memorial Day Weekend at Lake Lanier (Gainesville, GA): Once again this wine over delivers, it really reminds me of Italy, the fresh sweet fruit, plum, cherry, smooth texture, floral qualities, anise, slight bitterness, juicy, easy drinking, a very nice option on a warm Summer day at the lake.

Ridiculous value. Sour cherry, violets and a bit of licorice. Could use a tad more acidity, but the structure is present without being obvious and the savouryness makes it delicious.

Crimson red core, see through, with paler rim; sweet fresh cherry and ripe strawberry, floral, sappy, licorice in back says it is Italian and not Burgundy; intensely sweet red fruit on entry that doesn't end until the sappy red fruit finish, good acid and freshness; served with a little chill I can drink gallons of this; unreal buy at this price; wife likes, too.

Perhaps a little overdone one the ripe berry flavors. We'll have to see if it settles down over time. It seemed to develop a bit in the glass, but my lovely wife thought that it was still too one-dimensional.

This was a great buy for the price. Loved the nose on this wine. Great acidity, as expected, with a level of richness that goes so well with food. This blend really hit the spot for me. Can definitely taste the nebbiolo in this wine; the blend of other varietals makes this very easy drinking and approachable with no harshness.

Yum, and a wonderful value. I think Dolcetto is the primary variety, and it is adding some very clean, sweet fruit of black cherry and strawberry, soft tannins that are present but not like nebiollo. The nose wasn't overly expressive on day 1, will see how it evolves on day 2.

Poured two glasses & let breathe for 45 min. Truffle & cherry nose. Aromatics are a bit drawn in at first, but open up just fine. A pretty, red fruited, high acid wine tailor made for a casual dinner. Some dusty tannins emerge along with some darker fruit on the back of the palate.
Paired with chili. Thoroughly enjoyable weeknight wine.
