Friday, June 10, 2016 - Friday Dinner at Friends' House (Pok Fu Lam, Hong Kong): Golden yellow colour. Nose is deep caramel popcorn then some vanilla then more toffee popcorn. Palate is beautifully rounded , pebble-rounded, soft and mellow like rounded stones covered in honeycomb, white chocolate and fresh banana. Moderate acidity.....actually a bit too low. Beautifully harmonious. Nicely reverberant but in all aspects this is quite muted for a Batard Montrachet. Time to drink up.
