Friday, July 29, 2016 - Had visited the Château in 2015, so a nostalgic evening with this 2004.
+ Colour - red, with very light evolution at top end
+ Nose - floral, very herbal, ripe dark fruits, a bit "buttery"
+ Taste - very soft and elegant, some spice
+ Finish - very spicy, herbal, elegant, very long finish
A lovely made wine, perfect to pop and pour, don't think it will improve with further cellaring.
Also, a bit too elegant for me. I like my Pomerol hard and brute !
