Wednesday, December 6, 2017 - Terrific gewürztraminer. Bought at auction 8 years ago and in my cellar since. Now just getting around to opening. I am, admittedly, a big fan of gewurztraminers in the ZH style. This is not quite as sweet, and has a bit more minerality and litheness relative to many of the ZH wines. One of those wines that screams sweet and yet has dryness on the palate. Classic gewurz lychee and tropical fruits. Rich, but not cloying. Hint of rosewater. just yum. I'd buy more of these if I could. This was a steal at less than $20 I paid.
