Thursday, March 1, 2018 - 2015 Bouchard Père & Fils Dinner (Herrington Inn, Geneva): Pale straw yellow color opening with notes of apple, mineral, apple blossom and sea air. Lovely orchard fruit on the palate, a nice touch of apple, with a subtle harshness on the back end of the finish which must come from that portion of the harvest is aged in French oak (about 5-10% of the harvest in barrels averaging 6 years old). Good, but may need a year or two for that little kiss of oak to integrate a bit better on the palate. 88-89 pts for me, 91 for Domino.
