Minor colour development Fine chablis nose with bottle complexity. Fine, lemony palate, lovely balance. Just entering its drinking window. Medium length. Good weight for a Villages. Demonstrates the wonderful quality that Fevre is producing. Unpretentious, unassuming, spectacular in its understated execution. Great QPR for a recent purchase.

PAle gold color. PNP, drank a glass plus over 2 hours. It seems I rarely drink the AOC from Fevre, and that appears to be a mistake. This bottle was very traditional and showed nice character. The nose has lemon-lime, brine and crustaceans, later adding the sea air notes. There's good density to the palate, lemon, tart with good acidity in a riper vintage, savory, dry stones. 90+ to 91pts.

A: pale lemon N: medium (+) nose of wet wool, green apple, lemon, white flower, pear, apple, limestone or flint? , yeast, nuts P: Dry, high acid, no pb, medium alcohol, medium (+) body and long finish C: balanced acid and fruit ripeness, great length, intensity. Very good quality Guess: The wet rock sent me to old world. Thought there might be limestone or flint and so perhaps a Chablis or Chenin Blanc from Savennieres I finally guessed CB
Mistakes It was chardonnay. The perception of wet wool threw me off. The crescendo of the acid wasn’t there which would have helped if I had realised that.

Outstanding showing of this well-bred basic Chablis. Packed with white cherry, crunchy apple and pear fruit with touches of citrus and steely minerality. Fullish-bodied for Chablis but with balancing fresh acidity. Am I getting over-generous as I approach 6 weeks without leaving my front gate? Not on this performance! Nonetheless drink up this summer while still maintaining grip.

finished up my case of this yesterday... in the world of chablis this wine represents very good value if you can pick it up under 20... the style is simple and friendly and the 15 version of this was the definition of such... fleshy, riper apple and citrus fruits, no malo, no oak... not the hard, filigree acid, sea shell type of chablis but a good to very good wine nonetheless. drink up.

Tasted blind. Clear, bright, pale straw with a green hue. The nose is clean, medium (+) in intensity, with youthful aromas of lemon, fresh herbs, lime, wax and some wet stone and earthy minerality. There is no indication of new oak. The palate is dry, with medium to medium (+) acidity and medium alcohol (12.5%) and consistent with the nose. It ends with a slight bitterness and a slight salinity. Like the previous two whites tasted, it has indications of a good quality, cool climate, Old World wine. It's interesting that all three wines were from the same general appellation, considering that that they were very different expressions.

Yeah, big wash of citrusy acid mostly, and even a bit rough before showing more of its finer mineral character in the last glasses. Good wine, but more of a “broadsword” than the “rapier” we’re supposed to expect from Chablis.

Pale green in the glass. Pretty restrained on the nose with citrus notes and minerality being the only notes I can recognize. High acidity, medium alcohol. Bit bitter on the finish.
From magnum this was full, plump and generous. The fruit profile was quite peachy and it has a hint of mint and some iodine. Acidity is relatively soft.

Our new everyday Chablis and hits all the right buttons! Crisp apple with hints of Williams pear, core of lemon zest and packed with stony minerality. A fresh go-to Chablis at a decent price and with impeccable pedigree. Excellent. For drinking over the next 18 months or so.

Bright, lithe, and engaging bottle. Citrus grove, melon, hazelnut, and sea breeze aromas show a tinge of marzipan sweetness. The palate is compact, tensile, and very animated, with citric acidity adding a good bit of energy to the nervy green apple and quince flavors. Lemon pith lingers on the long and tactile finish.

Green-tinged pale gold. Initially not much nose as so cold; as it warmed it gave off a slight aldehydic, lemon, whiff of toast; upon opening burnt butter and freesias. Buttery, lemon, white fruit, peaches, slight toast. Initially miss d the upper palate, but it opened to a full mouth with umami flavours and good acid (drink now or over the next few years). Medium length of palate, better when warmer. Drink solo or pared with fish, or other foods that lack butteriness.

Big nose as soon as we opened this bottle. The colour of this wine is like pale straw. Initially when served cold, this showed very dry with hints of green pear and lemon. As the wine warmed up, apple was the forefront flavour I could taste. Really nice. Will definitely acquire some more. 87

2015 Bouchard Père & Fils Dinner (Herrington Inn, Geneva): Pale straw yellow color opening with notes of apple, mineral, apple blossom and sea air. Lovely orchard fruit on the palate, a nice touch of apple, with a subtle harshness on the back end of the finish which must come from that portion of the harvest is aged in French oak (about 5-10% of the harvest in barrels averaging 6 years old). Good, but may need a year or two for that little kiss of oak to integrate a bit better on the palate. 88-89 pts for me, 91 for Domino.

Excellent bottle of wine, especially considering its price. Fresh nose with something creamy, some apple, some stones. After it warmed and there wasn't much left in the glass there was a hint of an intoxicating earthy aroma. Medium to full in body with lively acidity, somewhat rounded finish. Bursting with green apple, pear and kiwi flavors. Finish carries on for a long time.

Third wine for our wine pairing at Chef's Table this evening, paired with a butter poached lobster with cavier and bruere blanc.
Light pale yellow. Layered nose with notes of citrus, apples, white stones and lemon zest. Strong acidity (7/10) and bright. Crisp and refreshing palate with lots of lemon zest and minerality. Medium bodied with a long finish. Drink till 2023.

Pale, green-tinged yellow. Lemon, iodine, and crushed rock. Medium bodied with ripe fruit. Delicious but lacking in complexity. The 2015 village, like the 2015 Champs Royaux, is surprisingly similar to the superior 2014 vintage. Drink through 2022.
