Monday, December 10, 2018 - Extremely surprised with the overall quality. I was expecting a monolithic wine and on the contrary it was quite complex, with exotic wood, iodine, leather and blackberry aromas. It's a little off balance due to the alcohol content, but it's really not a big issue. Tannins are still very present and slightly rough on the edge. Excellent length. Could definitely spend more time in the cellar. Decant for 2-3 hours if you drink now or cellar until 2025.
