Friday, December 14, 2018 - HDH December auction; 12/13/2018-12/15/2018 (Chicago, IL): Served double blind. Obviously Burgundy. Beautiful red fruit -- juicy and ripe. Quite reduced, so I went to Tremblay at first. Incredibly pure and clean fruit, with lots of crystalline clarity. Clearly grand cru depth and intensity here. You can insert all the usual comments about this being too young, but this is stunning now, and the potential is obviously clear.
