Sunday, February 24, 2019 - Delectable aromas of wet chalk, mirabelle plum, white peach, crushed stones and white flowers, with hints of honey and beeswax. The palate echoes the nose with wet chalk, white peach, mirabelle plum, cut grass, fresh grape, lemon and honey.
In summary: yum, yum, yummity-yum-yum. I loved this, my husband not so much (bearing in mind that I am a riesling-lover, whereas he is far more partial to gewurztraminer when it comes to Alsatian wines).
All that being said, as much as I enjoyed this bottle in its current state, I can't help but think it will be even better with more age on it. To be determined.
