Saturday, April 27, 2019 - decanted for 2 hours before drinking and served at cellar temperature. The color is a bright, deep golden yellow. On the nose there was initially some slight oakiness but that gave way with more air, along with chalky minerals, butterscotch, green apple and lemon blosson. Mouth feel is wonderfully rich yet bright with acidity. Palate is a little buttery but more stony with lemon baked apple, and grilled peach. Finish is extremely long at well over 60 seconds. So balanced and delicious to drink. It got better for another hour plus and had a very long, minute plus finish. Plenty of life left!
