Sunday, June 2, 2019 - Demanding Sherry! I have had this bottle open for a couple of weeks and trying to dissect everything from it has been a challenge. Very effusive, Molasses, toffee and oak influences with toasted caramel, peanut brittle, exotic blood orange and fig fruits, various brown spices, vanilla etc. The palate is ultra high acid with an almost citrus-like quality to the aged fruit. Long and tense with more energy than you would imagine based on the nose. Very stylish and very "extra" for Amontillado.
