Wednesday, June 12, 2019 - Even better than the last bottle two years ago, this was poured without decanting and was impressive right away, reaching its peak after 20 minutes. It explodes with intense raspberry fragrances and flavors, with smoke and sweet pipe tobacco. It has a big acid backbone and is a sappy wine, with a silky smooth mouthfeel and a long finish, with hints of mint and herbs. Powerful, complex, intense and deeply satisfying. Perfect with roast duck.
