Friday, June 14, 2019 - A 1959 Horizontal Across Champagne, Burgundy and Bordeaux (Le Cinq Restaurant, George Cinq Four Seasons, Paris): A very different nose from the other wines in this flight. Much brighter red fruit profile. Somewhat herbaceous. A much lighter, more feminine wine than the others. Nice acidity. Perhaps a bit of volatile acidity.
