Monday, July 1, 2019 - BBQ & Wines (Oegstgeest, NL): Beige label without ID code, V751 letter code on the cork, which means disgorged sept/oct 2007. This wine was richly vinous and expressive, supremely harmonious with gingerbread, hazelnut, brioche and more mature citrus complexity.

7/2/2019 12:43:00 PM - We drank the exact same edition last week. As far I know it is the 2001 based GC. Surprisingly good despite the weak vintage. But since no vintage was made, nor any Clos Mesnil or Ambonnay - so the best fruit from these made it into the GC as well as a record high amount of reserves (60%?).

the 159eme is 2003 based and would probably have cork code v10xx (for regular size bottles).
