Sunday, August 18, 2019 - Dark ruby red in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, strawberries & blueberries with overtones of spice notes of cardamom, nutmeg & cloves & floral notes of violets, earthy/dusty, minerals, cherry-cola & a hint of vanilla. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of dark cherries, blueberries & plums with spices, herbs, earthy, some cherry-cola notes, minerals & a hint of vanilla. Lingering smooth finish. Drinks quite well at present & at 10 years of age is at its peak of development but should hold here for a while if cellared properly.
