Saturday, September 14, 2019 - Possibly my last bottle of this. Pop and pour. Mature black raspberry colour with a very dark slightly garnet rim. Very dark and deep in the glass. Initial subdued nose that needs air and then reveals layers of dark plum, ripe black fig, worn saddle leather, camphor, black tea, tar and lots of graphite, even a touch of black licorice as well. Full bodied and a mouthful of black fruit extract. Fills your entire mouth from front to back with perfectly ripe and lush fruit. Wow! Super smooth. The tannins have completely melted away. Tongue coating black fruits all over the place. Lush and sensuous! Not dried out or raisined at all. Powerful yet supple. This is drinking perfectly right now and man is it sexy! So good! Gulpable. Call me crazy but I'm going with a 95 on this.
