Monday, September 1, 2008 - The cork bottom is gray. There's a blue streak up the side of it. Could it be the Dread Disease already infecting the 2002 vintage? No, the wine is sound and smells and tastes like a well-made Puligny premier cru from good-to-excellent vintage, just what it is. While not especially distinctive, it's full flavored, round but balanced with fine acidity and a pleasure to drink.
