  • Have worked my way through half the case, some bottles are good some Soso, I was expecting more minerality. Perhaps the wine hasn't come together yet as it seems a bit flabby for 02.

  • Was actually expecting more from this bottle. While it has the style of the region, it seemed thin and inexpressive. There was fruit but light, the body was light and the finish was not memorable. It had the right stuff, just not enough, and no focus or interest in any particular aspect. Glad I did not pay full price....

  • This bottle is perfectly sound but just not very distinctive. Light aroma of lees and lemon with a flavor to match. Decent balance, a middleweight in size, tastes like burgundy. Pleasant but no more.

  • The cork bottom is gray. There's a blue streak up the side of it. Could it be the Dread Disease already infecting the 2002 vintage? No, the wine is sound and smells and tastes like a well-made Puligny premier cru from good-to-excellent vintage, just what it is. While not especially distinctive, it's full flavored, round but balanced with fine acidity and a pleasure to drink.
