92 Points

Friday, November 29, 2019 - Riesling and ripe Bordeaux (Restaurant Brunnenstube, Beinstein): Short decant, maybe drunk too warm. Clear, deep ruby, almost purple color. Nose was rather disappointingly flat and one-dimensional.
On the palate very complex, deep and bold. Wonderful, luscious red fruit, good acidity, high, silky tannin, some eucalyptus on the long and partially hot finish. Hard to rate. I would say it needs more time to lose its puppy fat. 91-92+
