Wednesday, March 18, 2020 - This is a terrific cab that is just starting to enter it's prime drinking window. Consumed after a short decant. Could have used an additional hour decant. So happy I a couple more bottles in my cellar.

3/19/2020 5:07:00 AM - Nice note. In my opinion, most of Mike’s 2014 cabs have not shown real well over the past year or so - appeared to be in somewhat of a hibernation mode or closed/not overly expressive. However, it sounds like it’s time to revisit this wine. Take care.

3/19/2020 12:17:00 PM - I've been trying a few different 2014 cabs and been happy with them. I really like the Myriad cabs a lot but question whether the extra cost of the single vineyard cabs are worth it as compared with the Napa cabs.

3/19/2020 1:04:00 PM - Once again, it sounds like I need to revisit the 2014 vintage. I've been really reluctant in light of my experiences last year. In addition, I had a bottle of the 2014 Myriad G3 cab a couple months ago and I thought that it was still somewhat shutdown/closed especially in comparison to the bottles that I had within the first couple years of its release.

I believe Mike does a great job at all the price points but in my opinion his entry level cabs are some of the best wines that I've had for the money. I just wish they were more readily available especially at the Winery direct price.
