93 Points

Saturday, August 22, 2020 - PnP. ABV 13.5%.
Flowers and dark soils on the nose, fairly expressive. A very reliable and consistent wine since the 1st bottle few years ago. Bright acidity and a tad lean, fine tannins, oaks were fully integrated. Finished with slight bitter notes. No trace of alcohol. Spices lingering at finish, very nice. With air, this continued to put on weight and rounder mouthfeel. Just like most of ‘07 Red Burgs, wide-open and delicious.
