Thursday, October 22, 2020 - Champagne - 100 Vintage and NV Champagne; 12/15/2015-12/15/2020: Discrete nose with opened up significantly as the wine sat in the glass. Wonderful nose with just the right amount of tertiary notes of bruised apples, combined with bakery, flowers and yellow fruit. Important to give this some time to open up. As always, Krug's NV Grand Cuvee is about at the same level than the prestige Cuvee of the large houses.
