Monday, January 18, 2021 - Opened to console myself that daughter is leaving to return to college. Another odd showing for a '12. This begins lovely, with a touch of cream to the palate, initially, as the acidity takes a half hour to emerge. When it does, the palate is quite nice, round on the sides with a touch of butter cream, good clarity and purity, nothing off, the acidity now providing a good foundation. I thought it would be even better on the second night, but it was a bit flat.
