94 Points

Monday, February 22, 2021 - Served in a JRxRB universal. Flower / 1009 hPa.

Clear, shiny amber. A truly wonderful nose with orange peel, toasted bread, amaretto, sawdust, mild tobacco, butterscotch, and rancio. An intense salinity and lightly bitter resin on the palate. The acidity is off the charts, and when match with a lightly slick and oily texture, helps balance the alcohol. Bone dry as they come, the intensity of flavor still carries for a few minutes after every sip. Truly world class sherry.
