Thursday, July 1, 2021 - Cooler on the nose compared to the overripe 05 side by side. Bit of cranberry. On the palate fine texture, a distinct pomegranate note (which later on I picked up again in the terrific Suchots 10), ripe but balanced and long. Best of the 5 Orveaux that evening - just edging the 12. This is terrific now but the best is yet to come. 94++ Confirms again that 2010 is the vintage of recent great vintages for red Burgundy.
