Thursday, September 23, 2021 - Jesus H Christ this is good. It was a bit muted when popped but after a few hours it has opened and blossomed. The nose is stunning - so much concentration that it almost has that brothy thing I get from top Austrian Smaragds - but along side that is crystal clear lime, slate, cumin and other spices. So crisp, so clear. The palate is heartbreaking - not heavy in any way - ethereal and transparent and delicious - lime, stones, slate, spices. The finish is long and pure and lip-smacking: a perfect continuation of the palate. Stunning in every way. Nose - 5.5/6, Palate - 5.5/6, Finish - 5.5/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 1.5/2 = 18/20.
