Sunday, March 6, 2022 - It tasted fine on opening so I didn't decant, just gave it five hours uncorked.

Fragrant notes of roses, red cherry and strawberry, very pretty indeed.
The first sip confirmed how good it was - bright red cherry at first, then some much darker raspberry, with waves of old rosehip and wild strawberry, before a long, lingering finish featuring all of the flavours plus a hint of blackberry, but above all some great Margaux dusty elegance.
Like all P-Ls, there is a slight spiciness to the fruit, but unlike all P-Ls, the texture is really suave and silky.
Rich, but not at all jammy unlike other Margaux 00s. this has perfect poise and balance.
Probably the best P-L I have tasted and excellent value - I suppose that Prieuré-Lichine is the Lagrange of Margaux.
