Saturday, December 17, 2016 - [From a 375 ml] Deep dark reddish-purple in color; no signs of aging. Full, fragrant & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of dark cherries, blackberries & dried figs with spice & earthy overtones, minerals, dark cocoa, cinnamon spice, herbs & a touch of vanilla in the background. Full bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, with rich & jammy, ripe fruit flavors of blackberries, dark cherries, dried figs & raisins with spices, bittersweet cocoa & minerals. Long lingering smooth finish with just a hint of heat. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & airing but will continue development with additional aging.
