2007 Abreu Madrona Ranch

Community Tasting Note

Friday, April 15, 2022 - Purchased from BWG late last year. Nicked label & slightly depressed cork.

At PNP this wine is rich & ripe with a plush expressive palate and nose. A beautiful inner sweetness helps create a super long finish. A bit more opulent than the recent 04. I believe this bottle will benefit from continued slumber as there is still plenty of fruit and structure for the long haul.

4/18/2022 10:09:00 AM - Thanks for the TN. The depressed corks seem to be common as my 2010's have a similar issue (or non issue I should say because the 2010 was not flawed and tasted quite good).

4/18/2022 11:03:00 AM - I think it's a non issue. Might just be the way most of these Abreu's are bottled. How was the 2010?
