Sunday, April 21, 2019 - Medium golden brass in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of apples, pears & citrus notes of lemons/limes with overtones of stony/flinty & floral notes, lemon curd, minerals, some butterscotch & roasted hazelnut notes & a hint of vanilla/toasted oak in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of mature, well balanced & smooth textured, ripe flavors of apples, pears & lemons/limes with butterscotch, stony, minerals & a hint of toasty oak/vanilla. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present & at 17 years of age, it is at its peak of development, so drink up soon! Cork was clean & intact with saturation up to midpoint; bottle level was well in upper neck.
