90 Points

Saturday, May 9, 2015 - Deep red colour. Nose with dark berries including blackcurrants and blackberries, salty liquorice, oaky vanilla notes, some chocolate, developed notes with a bit of leather. Powerful and mouth-filling palate with salty liquourice, blackcurrants, pepper, well integrated tannin and a long finish. Definitely an "old school" Aussie Shiraz, i.e., quite powerful, but pleasantly enough not too alcoholic. Fully developed but can definitely take more time in the cellar. 90 p.
