Wednesday, October 9, 2013 - Jeroboam Club 1995 Bordeaux (Bordeaux Quay): very dark colour little development. Monolithic on nose, a solid slab of blackcurrant cabernet fruit. Rich powerful tannic. Plenty of size but very austere and one dimensional. It may loosen up but others at the tasting who know the wine well said it has always been like that and the tannins will outlast the fruit.
