A lot of structure and power packed in this. This wine had a big dark nose of currant, cigar smoke and dense foliage, and lots of dark fruit and liquorice on the palate. Rather modern in character.

Probably requires 8-10 more years of cellar time before hitting peak, and easily 20-30 years of life ahead.
