Friday, February 5, 2021 - This wine is drinking very nicely. Wish I had a few more bottles to see how it ages over the next few years.

The wine looks purple colored. The legs are slow. There is moderate sediment in the bottle. It smells like black currant (cassis), cherry and plum. It tastes like mineral, cherry and plum. The body is medium/full.

My first few sips I was tricked in to thinking it this was a Pinot Noir. I was tricked by the feint mineral flavors. In fact its 55% Merlot 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Petit Verdot.

I enjoyed this bottle over three days, using a few puffs of preserver gas between each pour. Definitely very enjoyable. It paired very nicely with a medium rare rib eye.
