93 Points

Monday, April 10, 2023 - 91% Shiraz, 9% Cabernet Sauvignon. Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Langhorne Creek, Adelaide Hills. Matured in old, 1460 liter vats that allow the wine to develop.
Decanted off the minimal sediment. Deep and saturated ruby in the glass. Aromas open to show notes of fruit liqueur, blueberry, dark cherry, floral pastilles, baking spice, vanilla and mocha tones.
The wine is remarkably youthful on the palate and still showing firm tannins and juicy acids. Polished and powerful with velvety and velour textures. Flavors compliment the nose with notes that recall dark cherry, muddled blackberry, blueberry compote, mocha, spice, floral pastilles and leather. The finish lingers effortlessly with grip.
