Friday, June 16, 2023 - A stark improvement over my last bottle 16 months ago. Gave this 6+ hours of air and the nose was a real gem, ranking the nose by itself I would even give this 94-95. Cabernet laden black fruit, cassis, vanilla, black licorice, plum and tabacco. Everything super precise. The palate while less impressive than the nose shows a similar fruit profile, everything in nice balance, medium plus tannins and acidity. Oak is well integrated. Seems to be entering its prime drinking window, but I would have no concerns leaving bottles horizontal for another 10 years.
