Saturday, October 20, 2018 - More sheeting than legs on inside the glass. Earthy dark magenta. Macerated cherries, kirsch, patchouli, leather and Campino candy nose. Puckery dry in the mouth despite the fruit extraction. Decent flavours of those macerated cherries again and, I hate to say it, almost bordering on cherry cough syrup, but there it is. High test on the alcohol front. Kind of a watery fruit finish that ends tannic and woody. A bit disappointing overall. Going with an 89 on this one and that might be generous.
