Saturday, September 24, 2022 - Opened to breathe for 1-2h. This is a big earthy oaky CdP, lots of sandalwood on the nose, tobacco, hints of pepper, baking spices, and heat. A velvet hammer of sweet red fruit, earth, tobacco, mineral, and black pepper. Great heft, intensity, and complexity. Tonight with grilled chicken. Just as lovely (and hefty!) on Day 2. 92/93
