Saturday, April 25, 2015 - A brutally nice wine and totally Selosse without being too much... The nose reveals the classical, yet classy, baed apple, minerals, citrus zest, dark toast and that oxidised tone Selosse so skilfully turns into magic. The palate follows through in t he best possible way with perfect balance an integration. There is enough texture and structure for several years of further cellaring. Sometimes the Selosse style is a bit too much and perhaps a bit edgy. The VO almost always delivers a softer and "creamier" experience and this bottle is certainly no exception to that rule. A bit on the young side as it was disgorged 2013, this bottle provided immense pleasure tonight. Bravo!

4/27/2015 2:48:00 AM - Excellent review. Many thanks. We have two bottles in the cellar awaiting sipping in the jacuzzi! We tend to agree still a touch too young, but always fun to try and then experience the evolution. Selosse, to us, sits at the table with Salon and others for making an extraordinary wine. If you have not visited his hotel/restaurant Les Avizes, then you must do so. Outstanding...and, as you might imagine, quite a few nice vintages of EVERYTHING Jacques Selosse produces. Have you tried Ulysse Collin, made by a former Selosse winemaker?
